This weekend kicks off Memorial Day and we usually do a Hero workout to honor military soldiers who have died serving the US armed forces. But why have just one day, when we can do a whole week of Hero Wods! I've curated some hero workouts for us to do this week. Please scale and modify accordingly as these can be intense! If you have further questions on what/how to scale and are not coming to class, please don't be shy to reach out!
We're starting with a classic ""DT"". Choose a weight that will challenge you and aim to go as unbroken as possible. If you only have light weights, you have the option to go Double DT!!
In honor of USAF SSgt Timothy P. Davis, 28, who was killed on Feburary, 20 2009 supporting operations in OEF when his vehicle was struck by an IED. Timothy is survived by his wife Megan and one-year old son T.J."
